It’s 2020 and today we have got a number of FPS battle Royale games. 20 Years back when I started playing games, I never imagined I’ll get to play realistic games like PUBG, Fortnite.

But have you ever wondered how it all started? They’re not 1 or 2 games that inspired the development of PUBG or Fortnite, the count is in hundreds.

Originally, FPS gaming originated way back in the ’70s. However, it was from 1999 when these games started tasting success.

Then on 1 day of October 2003, a publisher that goes by the name of Activision released an FPS game titled Call of Duty. Now, today, Call of Duty is not just a game, it’s a franchise, brand. Soon after its release, Call of Duty became an overnight blockbuster.


Since then, Activision has released a total of 16 Call of Duty games across all the gaming platforms. Let’s find out about them –

Call of Duty Battle Pass

Battle Pass is a way to unlock some special items like Weapon Skins, legendary items. Complete missions, increase your tier and get rewards. Apart from this, you’ll get several weapon blueprints. Collect them to combine a legendary weapon.

After complete all the 100 tiers, you’ll get 1300 Call of duty points, which you can use to skip Battle Pass tiers or renew the Call of Duty Battle Pass for next season.

Pricing of Battle Pass

You can purchase the battle pass from the in-game shop at $10. Purchase a bundle pack at $24 if you want to skip 20 tiers and start from tier 21 directly.

Note – You can skip an individual tier at the pricing of $1.50/tier.

Q – Can I play Call of Duty for free on PC or gaming console?

A – No. Except for mobiles, Call of Duty is a paid game. PC users can buy the game from steam.

Q – Can I play Call of Duty on my Apple Smartphone?

A – Yes, you can download and play this game for free on your smartphone. For other platforms, you must buy this game from the official call of duty store.

Q – Is it possible for me to play Call of Duty offline?

A – Nope. You can’t play Call of Duty Mobile without the internet on your smartphone. In fact, your game won’t even start without the availability of the internet.

Q – Can I transfer my battle pass from one platform to the other?

A – No. That’s not possible for anyone.

Q – I’ve purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare from steam. Will I get battle pass free along with it?

A – No. You won’t. Although, you would still be able to access free battle pass that has limited tiers. To unlock all 100 tiers, you must purchase Call of Duty Battle Pass.

Playing Battle Royale game is so much fun. With updates at regular intervals, you get to complete some new missions. By doing so, Activision is successful in gluing its users to the game.
